Today the demand for skilled workforce is very high in the country. After our honorable prime minister announced the Skill India program the importance of gaining skills rather than just textbook knowledge has increased. Vocational courses from Industrial Training Institutes (also known as ITIs) are set up with the aim to provide professional industrial level training to the students.
Students who wish to pursue skill-based education have the best chance to gain knowledge of the same through an ITI course. There are two types of ITI courses for students to choose from; engineering and non-engineering courses.
Engineering courses are technical and require the students to have and gain knowledge from engineering, science, mathematics, technology, etc. subjects. Whereas, non-engineering courses are focused more towards language and soft skills.
At Balaji Institute of Hotel Management and Sciences, we provide Work integrated ITI. In this type of ITI course, a student gets opportunity to gain industry relevant qualification while doing an internship with a company. This allows the student to learn firsthand about the nature or work and how the particular industry functions.
ITI is Specialization
ITI employs an efficacious training pedagogy focusing On five essential skills
